Bombas de vacío de garras secas (TXC)

Las bombas de garras comprimen el gas entre dos rotores que no se tocan, por lo que no hay aceite ni agua de cierre en la vía del gas. Eso importa donde cualquier arrastre de líquido estropearía el producto o el efluente: envasado, alimentación, manejo farmacéutico, secado de piezas limpias y redes de vacío centralizado.

Frente a una bomba de anillo líquido las diferencias son claras: la de garras no necesita suministro de agua ni genera efluente contaminado, pero tolera mucho menos líquido y partículas en el gas, y los tamaños de una etapa alcanzan unos 90 mbar en lugar del vacío más profundo de una máquina de anillo líquido de dos etapas con agua fría.
