Multistage Roots Dry Vacuum Pumps (EcoDry TD)
A multistage Roots dry pump puts several Roots stages in series inside one casing, so it reaches medium vacuum on its own without any backing pump, oil or seal water. The gas ballast valve lets it handle condensable vapour without contaminating a working fluid — there is no working fluid to contaminate.
These are the small frames: 7 to 100 m³/h, for laboratory rigs, analytical equipment, small drying and degassing duties. For the same technology at process scale, a Roots booster over a liquid ring or rotary piston backing pump (our ZJ and JZJ ranges) is normally the more economical arrangement.
